Most candidates prepare for quant interviews by memorising answers. Interviewers spot this within the first two minutes. This session is about the opposite skill: thinking clearly under pressure, out loud.

Meera Krishnan spent six years interviewing candidates for a proprietary trading desk and has seen thousands of solutions to the same fifty puzzles. In this live session she will work through real questions in real time, showing what a good answer looks like — including the wrong turns that are actually fine to take.

• Probability puzzles: when to compute exactly, when to simulate, when to estimate
• A live market-making game: quoting a two-sided market with a small edge

The session ends with a 20-minute live Q&A. You can submit a puzzle you were asked in a real interview, and Meera will solve it on the spot. Recordings are shared with all registered participants.
